A Studio Lead monitors and coaches their creative teams to produce compelling and industry leading imagery; follow all image standards, while maintaining an efficient and highly productive studio team. The Lead consistently reviews and improves standards to meet the studio and company goals and initiatives.
- Provide regular quality assurance reviews for your teams
- images and deliver results from established action plans.
- Coach employees on areas of development as related to their quality assessments
- Continuously assess our quality practices for improvement with the goals of efficiency, process, quality and cost in mind
- Successfully implement changes throughout the team increasing consistency throughout the site
- Model an understanding of the zulily brand, and makes decisions based on that criteria, developing standards and evolving the look of the brand
- Act as a liaison with other departments to successfully publish event imagery exceeding quality standards
- Demonstrate zulily values in all interactions and model this behavior in your team
- Create team on boarding and training guides for new hires
- Manage the HP Reshoot Doc with Stylist Lead
- Partner with Merch by acting as a liaison for creative collaboration, process improvement and maintaining standards
- Partnering with supervisors and management acting as an ambassador of our brand and culture
- Provide creative consultation and constructive feedback to team members
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Self-driven and goal-oriented with strong time management skills
- Collaborative leadership skills (liaison)
- Calm under pressure, can excel and thrive in a high-volume production environment
- Proactive problem solving, both technically and creatively
- Exceptionally rigorous work ethic, adaptable to ever-changing hours and demands, with ability to re-focus and develop options for quick changes in projects
- Strong attention to detail and order
- Understands balance of quality and quantity
- Preferred 1 year in Editorial Photography role
- Proven ability to lead creative teams by mentoring and providing feedback
- Superior skills with Photoshop, Capture one and Mac OS
