We are looking for a Financial Analyst II that brings Corporate Finance experience and an entrepreneurial aptitude to accelerate decision making and management of the business. If you are a proven self-starter with innovative ideas and analysis who can problem solve on-the-fly, enjoys evaluating a business based on metrics, thrives on working cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment, then keep reading!
- Creation of expense projections for annual budgets, long-term plans as well as interim forecasts and “what if” scenarios, focusing on the underlying business drivers, key financial and operating metrics and relative sensitivity analysis
- Refine the Company’s expense modeling tools and techniques to support business growth, including effectively translating business requirements into planning and reporting solutions
- Ensure expense modeling tools and techniques incorporate versatility to support quick turnaround and multiple growth scenarios
- Demonstrated ability to forecast capital requirements from demand drivers including ROI of capital investments and the impact to the various financial statements
- Develop an understanding of expected revenue growth to ensure appropriate drivers, including expected efficiencies, are incorporated into the expense forecasting process
- Assess actual expense results and trends relative to forecast to ensure a thorough understanding of the variance drivers. Work with senior business leaders to develop action plans, procedures or solutions
- Prepare and distribute recommendations, reporting and analysis as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance is required
- 3-5 years of broad-based, progressive financial analysis and planning experience
- Financial modeling and analysis techniques in high growth organizations including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience and familiarity with cash flow concepts
- Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously
- Collaborative and customer-service work style
- Experience in fast-paced, rapidly growing environments
- Exceptional attention to detail and results-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CPA is preferred
- E-commerce or Retail industry background
- Understanding of SQL and Tableau
