Director Of Engineering

We are looking for a strong Director of Engineer in San Francisco, CA or Los Angeles, CA who will be resposible for development of YP’s web based Advertiser Solutions - User Interfaces and back end (Node.js, Angular.js).

• Build, maintain and manage short and long term advertiser portal solutions. Drive YP advertiser portals' web strategy
• Responsible for developing best in class experience through responsive web pages that excite, appeal, and drive a differentiated customer experience.
• Ensure scalable sustainable development processes, procedures.
• Drive test automation strategy, work side by side with Testing team.
• Technical oversight of developed solutions.
• Coding and development - hands-on development experience to work with the team. Provide regular updates on progress and outstanding issues.
• Possess technical/functional expertise and knowledge
• Support agile software development process

• 10+ years of experience in software development
• Expert in web development (Node.js, Angular.js, Javascript, HTML5 / CSS / JSON).
• Good understanding of data stores like MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Proven background contributing at the managerial and hands on level.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, Data Structures, OOP concepts and algorithms.
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in Agile software development as well as TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration.
• MS / BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related IT disciplines.
• 7+ years of experience in managing software projects
