Controller

Xometry is looking for a tenured Controller to oversee all daily accounting operations.

• Management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition
• Management of payroll
• Preparation of timely financial statements and balance sheets
• Support the month-end and year-end close process
• Tax preparation
• Oversight of the audit process
• Execution of all financial planning activities, namely the budget process
• Management and leadership of current staff accountant
• Prepare internal and external financial reporting for management team review, board meetings, and investor presentations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance highly preferred.
• CPA certification required
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Big 4 accounting experience
• Experience as a controller in a small to mid-sized company
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and QuickBooks
• Experience with one or more ERP systems
• Experience migrating from one ERP system to another
