Responsibilities
A Tenant Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordination between the Leasing Department, Tenants, and Project Manager. This position prepares construction exhibits, generates cost estimates, and generates LOD’s and related plans for lease exhibits. This position works closely with Project Managers on all aspects of project design, construction and sign criteria, and in overall project management. Tenant Coordinators are the primary contact for tenants, and are responsible for documenting all correspondence with tenants. This position has the primary responsibility of tracking and reporting exchanges of plans and information with Tenants, as well as monitoring key dates for compliance with Tenant Leases. This position reviews all tenant plans along with the Project Manager. Tenant Coordinators work with Lease Administration and the Project Manager on the delivery of Tenant spaces. **Key Position Accountability:** 1. Preparation of construction lease exhibits. 2. Preparation of LOD’s and related plans for lease exhibits. 3. Review of Tenant plans to ensure they meet lease requirements, permit requirements, and generally the local building code requirements. 4. Maintain reports and documentation regarding all correspondence with Tenants, and the status of lease requirements. 5. Assist the Project Manager with the coordination between contractors and Tenants. 6. Assist the Project Manager with management of Architects and Engineers. 7. Ensure all Tenants review and sign off on the delivery of premises at time of delivery. 8. Assist the Project Manager in directing on site construction activity. 9. Create Design and Construction Criteria for each project. 10. Function as the main point of contact with each Tenant on a property with an emphasis on customer service.
Ideal Candidate
* Associates degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management with two to five years of experience, or equivalent work experience. * Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and data mangement programs. * Experience with Filemaker and AutoCAD is beneficial. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong organizational and time management skills.
