The Vice President of Acquisitions manages the sourcing, underwriting, acquisition/disposition, and debt/equity procurement processes for assets in multiple states. Directs and oversees the activities of the acquisitions team to ensure efficient operations, compliance with standards and procedures, and sound investment decisions.
- Sets appropriate goals and objectives for the Acquisitions Department to achieve the company’s overall performance goals.
- Evaluates and improves acquisitions policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and ensure sound investment decisions.
- Oversees the process of identifying and validating multifamily and commercial investment opportunities that meet the acquisitions strategy.
- Ensures proper execution of all acquisitions transactions including: market analysis; proformas; feasibility and due diligence studies; investor relations; business plans; ROI analysis; underwriting; workout strategies; etc.
- Structures financially complex transactions, including return on investment analysis and feasibility studies.
- Oversees acquisitions team in managing broker and investor relationships.

Qualifications
- 5-10 years of direct acquisitions and underwriting of commercial and/or retail properties
- Minimum of four years of supervisory experience
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Management or related field
- Strong financial modeling experience
- Strong MS Excel skills and proficiency with other MS Office software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
