Product Designer

Windsor Circle is the leader in Customer Retention Software for the retail industry.

• Design highly usable and delightful user interfaces, experiences, and visuals week in and week out as part of a product team; owning both UX and visual design responsibilities

• Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, click-throughs, or simple prototypes as needed to communicate ideas to the team and validate them with users

• Continually refine and improve user-centered designs based on product goals, customer feedback, product metrics, and user research results

• Assist in developing and maintaining detailed user-interface guidelines, design patterns, and style guides

• Partner with product development teams to build enjoyable experiences; review designs with product managers and developers to spot difficulties, review new features as they are built to spot implementation gaps and identify future UX improvements

• Present design work to large audiences at all levels within the company and lead constructive feedback discussions

• Deep knowledge of user-centered philosophies and interaction design best practices; ability to assess user problems and design solutions based on goals, scope and use cases

• Experience in information architecture, storyboarding, wireframing, prototyping, and design style guides

• Strength in visual design including layout, hierarchy, typography and use of color

• Experience designing effective, simple yet elegant interfaces aimed at providing business intelligence through data visualizations; experience designing solutions for business user workflows in the areas of customer acquisition / retention, email marketing, marketing automation, event-driven marketing, data analytics and/or campaign management is a big plus!

• Experience validating and testing your designs via user research. Experience designing and running usability studies yourself is a plus

• Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs

• Self-motivated, directed, and independent - able to make daily progress in the face of the ambiguity and multiple priorities that are part of startup life; prior startup experience is a plus

• 3+ years (post education) related UX and visual design experience on web and mobile products; experience in at least 3 full product design-development-launch cycles; a strong portfolio demonstrating your breadth and ambitions

• A BA/BS or higher degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Communication Arts, or field related degree
