Marketing Director

- Work with investment management’s (IM) leadership and marketing teams to collaborate on strategy and execution of marketing plans across IM distribution channels - US and non-US Institutional and Financial Intermediaries, including RIA, Wirehouse, Bank and Independents. Represent IM with other internal departments including legal/compliance, finance, etc. - Serve as IM liaison and subject matter expert within Brand Marketing and Communications (BMC). Collaborate with BMC leaders (PR, Digital, Design) and their teams to execute on IM strategies and programs. Share marketing best practices across business lines. - Work with Head of IM Marketing and IM marketing team to monitor and and oversee IM marketing budget and spending. - Participate in other projects as requested by management.

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications, MBA preferred - Experienced marketer with 10 - 15 years of experience in the investment industry, preferably with an asset management firm. - FINRA series 7, 63 (can be obtained on the job) - Strong knowledge/experience of the asset management industry. - Knowledge and experience of all facets of marketing, from strategy to digital to conferences to database/CRM to pitchbooks to thought leadership to PR/communications. - The ability to lead and motivate an integrated marketing team, leveraging the expertise of peers in brand marketing and communications (digital, design, PR). - Excellent communication skills; the talent to provide counsel and effectively influence and contribute to strategic decisions. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple programs/projects with the interpersonal skills necessary to work amongst a variety of constituencies. - Ability to think strategically while also able to “roll up your sleeves” and do the hands-on work necessary to meet deadlines. - Experience in working in a highly collaborative, corporate structure. - A strong service orientation with a commitment to the quality standards of the firm.
