Responsibilities

At Weber Shandwick Los Angeles, we are applying decades of PR and social media experience into a new form of creative agency built for the engagement era of communications. In the process, we are creating our best work ever, pushing ourselves and our clients, and having a great time doing it.

  • To help us succeed, we need to add a studio designer to our growing creative team.
  • We’re looking for someone strong communication and design skills who can work across any media platform to help develop campaigns.
  • You’ll work with the creative team, to design and concept infographics, banner ads and other quick-turn projects.
  • You’ll also work with the strategy and account teams developing PowerPoint presentations for new business and existing clients.
  • Attention to detail, team spirit, and a proactive whatever it takes attitude is essential.

Ideal Candidate
  • 0-2 years of professional digital and traditional graphic design experience.
  • BA in related field preferred.
  • Excellent portfolio showcasing distinct design skills with attention to detail and typography.
  • Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite, mainly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. After Effects, Flash and HTML experience a plus.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Very detail-oriented, strong fact checking, and top-notch eye for design details, such as typography, alignment, color, etc.
  • Understanding of our ‘engaging, always’ approach and produce creative that tells our clients’ stories through thoughtful, strategic solutions.
  • Being a proactive communicator with all involved parties on a project, such as creative services team, key account leads and vendors as necessary.
