Primarily responsible for supporting the administrative Talent Acquisition functions within Wayne Farms LLC. Works with HR Managers and Hiring Managers to efficiently facilitate and administer staffing and selection processes for the organization.
- Conduct full-cycle staffing activities for corporate positions and serves as central contact and resource for candidates.
- Screening, evaluating and recommending applicants for interviews.
- Maintain record of all job offers, employment and onboarding records, close requisitions, and notify applicants that position has been filled.
- Assure appropriate pre-employment activities are communicated and completed to include job offers, background checks and drug screens.
- Central point for creation and distribution of all offer letters.
- Process staffing related expense forms.
- Resource for managers in managing and editing position descriptions and requisitions, and field questions regarding hiring practices, candidate status, and responses to job postings.
- Order Helm Assessments for all candidates.
- Responsible for data collection, tracking and reporting of Recruiting Metrics.
- Administer Employee Referral program including acknowledgement, tracking and processing of employee referral bonuses.
- Associates degree with HR, Business Administration, Poultry Science, or Information Technology or closely related discipline plus 3 years relevant experience in a staffing or Human Resources environment; OR Bachelor's degree in disciplines above or other closely related discipline plus 2 years relevant experience in a staffing or Human Resources environment.
- Knowledge of staffing and selection process-flow and best practices; to include resume screening, interviewing, critical thinking skills, and candidate management.
- Demonstrated strong PC skills with strong proficiency with Microsoft software applications as well as a high level of aptitude to quickly learn various in-house and web-based applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as outside contacts.
- Highly keen organization, prioritization and work flow management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Familiarity with State and Federal laws related to employment.
