Waymouth Farms, maker of Good Sense® snacks and several other unique brands (Salad Pizazz!®, Kracker Nuts®, Omega Munchies®, Nutty Corn®), is well-known and established in the marketplace for product innovation, variety and most importantly quality.

Summary

Due to our continued growth, we are expanding our HR department and are seeking to add a qualified individual who has exceptional recruiting skills in addition to a solid HR background. The main duties of this position will be to source and recruit qualified candidates for all open positions within the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Use creative techniques to source qualified candidates for all open positions
  • Work with HR Manager to prepare and place electronic job postings
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with local community organizations, recruiters, colleges, universities, etc
  • Attend applicable job fairs
  • Present Waymouth Farms in a positive manner to all prospective applicants and community organizations
  • Maintain an appropriate company social media presence for recruiting purposes
  • Maintain internal job requisition process
  • Maintain applicant tracking information
  • Post open positions internally
  • Diligently work to fill positions in a timely manner
  • Schedule and conduct interviews with department managers
  • Administers all applicable testing during interview process
  • Prepare and present offer letters, conduct employment verifications, schedule drug screens, and perform background checks
  • Notify applicants of hiring decisions
  • Work with HR manager and hiring manager to ensure all job descriptions remain up to date
  • Assist with pre-employment paperwork, orientation and onboarding process
  • Continually seek to improve recruiting process and make recommendations as appropriate
  • Perform backup HR duties
Ideal Candidate
  • 3 years proven success in a recruiting role for all levels of an organization, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Must be a positive team player and be able to develop effective working relationships both inside and outside the organization
  • Experience successfully using social media for recruiting
  • 3 years HR Generalist experience preferred
  • Membership in SHRM or similar organization preferred
  • Degree in an HR related field helpful
