Executive Director of Marketing and Communications

- Responsible for leading institutional marketing strategy and implementation, growing the college's brand awareness, protecting and enhancing the college's reputation, maintaining an effective internal and external communication program, measuring marketing efforts, engaging a variety of target constituencies, and serving as college spokesperson - Creating and maintaining positive relationships with media organizations. The Copy Center also reports to this position.

- Master's degree in Organizational Communication, Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Public Relations or other related area required. - Minimum of five years of relevant experience in marketing, public relations, or organizational communications. Higher education experience preferred. - Minimum of four years supervisory experience required. - Experience with media relations in a professional setting and ability to develop relationships with media outlets. - Knowledge of, or experience with, website design, content management required, strategic online marketing communications and social media management. - Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. **Experience in some combination of the following functions:** - development and implementation of strategic marketing plans and marketing campaigns; familiarity with, and experience in, publication production; comprehensive organizational communications development; integrated marketing; financial management in support of public relations and marketing efforts; strategic plan development and goal setting; ability to build and maintain positive and productive interpersonal relationships; knowledge of, and experience in, media placement and purchase of all forms of media; ability to foster and develop relationships with a wide variety of organizations within the community. **Preferred Qualifications** - Budgetary experience preferred.
