Senior Project Manager

The Project Manager has day-to-day responsibility for managing complex Agile software development projects to completion. You will coordinate the activities of multiple cross-functional teams to complete projects in support of Walmart eCommerce’s business strategy and objectives. This position is in Strati/Platform group which builds Application Foundation for various applications and services across Walmart.

• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Project Management and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
• Develops project management processes and practices
• Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
• Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
• Interacts with key Product Owners, Engineering/QE teams, and other project team members to deliver projects and initiatives in support of business objectives
• Support multiple Agile teams through the various Agile ceremonies, acting as Scrum Master
• Concurrently support multiple complex projects/programs in an Agile environment
• Provide status reflecting current activities as well as dependencies and impediments and work through blockers to keep teams moving forward
• Support projects in geographically distributed teams, potentially including third-party vendors
• Works with Product and Engineering managers to plan, execute and deliver projects/programs on time
• Works collaboratively with cross-functional peers and senior leaders/stakeholders to drive resolution of project issues.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Sciences, or related field and 2 years’ experience in full life cycle project management or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Facilitation/Meeting management skills
• Certified Scrum Master or equivalent experience
• Strong experience with Agile Project Management

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• 2+ years of hands on Agile experience
• 2+ years hands-on experience developing software with Scrum methodology.
• Solid experience managing multiple dependencies
• Experience in using JIRA/Confluence
