Vivid Seats is seeking a smart, creative, and data-driven SEO Supervisor to join the team. The successful candidate will be a master of content optimization—helping searchers find Vivid Seats when we’re relevant to their search. Primary responsibility will be to manage all on-page optimization decisions to drive organic traffic and sales. Role requires excellent project management skills to address a wide breadth of keywords and associated keyword research across a rapidly changing event calendar. The Manager will manage and mentor junior staff and collaborate with colleagues in dedicated outreach and content teams.
- Perform keyword research to understand search behavior of ticket purchasers
- Review on-page attributes and ensure the page is both relevant to what searchers are looking for and considered relevant by search engines
- Perform competitive research, page audits, and action plans using a variety of tools and data sources
- Regularly monitor performance and report results to colleagues and leadership
- Maintain log of major optimizations and events that could affect organic search traffic
- Troubleshoot when rankings and traffic may be sub-optimal, going beyond best practices to understand how search engines and users interact with content and fixing the on-page and off-page elements of the content until site is user and search-engine friendly
- Evaluate equity of existing links and identify gaps and opportunities to add quality organic links to top events
- Collaborate with dedicated content and outreach teams to achieve performance objectives
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communication or related discipline
- 5+ years of professional experience demonstrating success in increasing natural search visibility and doing product and/or project management in-house or for an agency
- MBA preferred
- Excellent organization, communication, and project management skills with a fanatical attention to detail
- Have a working knowledge of leading Web Analytics and SEO tools
- Ideally have working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java Script and Flash
- Be fluent in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience working in ecommerce is a plus
- Interest and familiarity with sports, concerts, and all live entertainment
