As Senior Project Manager, you’ll look upward and outward toward the needs of clients and external stakeholders while supporting our internal teams to achieve their highest potential. On the projects you spearhead, you’ll advocate for the strategy, and manage and balance both business and creative goals. You’ll listen to and understand stakeholder concerns and guide appropriate teams toward solutions. You and your teams will create and integrate on budget deliverables throughout each program’s lifecycle, architecting coherent end results for our clients and ultimately, their users.
Project management
- Drive all aspects of the project management process, from scope of work and contracts to project organization, resource planning, development and risk management. Identify and implement project management processes and best practices, manage junior staff and partner with project leads to integrate the role of project management within Veryday’s creative process.
Relationship building and program management
- Foster strong, supportive relationships with clients, teams and other stakeholders from beginning to end of each program – and beyond. As liaison between individuals and as an advocate for all stakeholders, ensure clear and open communication on goals, vision and best practices.
- Partner with VP Design and project leads to find synergies and learnings between projects and to streamline project delivery.
- Partner with project leads to expand and evolve client relationships. Identify add-on opportunities within existing projects and explore new opportunities within client organizations.
Process
- Manage and guide interdisciplinary team activities and deliverables, scheduling, scope and program adjustments, and internal and external communications. Research and implement project management best practices with project leads.
Business and financial
- Maintain, document and communicate program budgets, changes, cost analyses, and internal and external financial reporting to clients and internal partners.
- A proven history of managing and directing interdisciplinary teams on complex multi-location programs.
- Strong budget tracking, project accounting and analysis skills.
- Deep understanding of product design and processes, brand strategy and digital development.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- High level of competency with project management tools, methods and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a design or strategy consultancy.
- 5+ years of project management experience.
