- Develop and optimize frontend framework and design
- Architect test plans
- Interact with backend APIs and optimize responsiveness
- Research and select toolsets to enhance User Experience with dynamic content
- Craft visualizations utilizing graphing libraries (D3, Google Charts, Highcharts)
- A passion for Frontend web design and a burning desire to learn
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and their implementation differences on browser renderers
- Proficiency with Git
- Usage of frontend testing frameworks (Mocha, etc) and Test-Driven-Development
- Experience architecting modular, testable front-end frameworks
- Knowledge of backend APIs, structure, and databases
- Performance optimization of frontend toolsets (responsiveness, data and memory usage)
- Implementation of a mobile experience with HTML5 or native apps
- Proficiency with graphing libraries (D3, Google Charts, Highcharts)
- Open Source Contributions to JavaScript libraries and frameworks (Angular, Ember, Backbone, React, etc)
- Participation in the development community (Stack Overflow, Stack Exchange, Quora, etc)
- Knowledge of CSS box models
- Journal publications, blogs, and presentations on frontend development (CSS3 techniques, etc.)
