Level II Applications Developer

• Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, supports, and implements software and applications.
• Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
• Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
• Designs and develops new software products and major enhancements to existing software and evaluates effectiveness.
• Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms between online applications. Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
• Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to upper management.
• Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
• Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• Acts as team leader on projects. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of others on the development team.
• Participates in development of software user manuals and technical reports.
• Performs automated builds and deployment scripts, integrates data sources, and provides architectural and code design improvements.

Required:

• The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/USCIS EOD Suitability Clearance
• An Associate’s Degree or higher or 5+ years of experience
• Good understanding of Object Oriented Principles
• A working knowledge of software development testing using the Agile-Scrum methodology
• Experience with:
  • Object Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks
  • Oracle
  • WCF service to Oracle DB’s
  • The .NET Framework including C#, ASP.NET and WebForms
  • Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Continuous Integration/Deployment
  • Responsive UI websites
  • Adobe Acrobat and related products

Desired:

• Currently hold certification as a ScrumMaster (CSM)
