Staff Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team. A person acting in this position must have a strong understanding of accounting principles coupled with attention to detail. In order for this candidate to be successful, he/she must be highly self-motivated and directed, committed to solving problems efficiently, and interested in being part of an organization committed to continuous growth and improvement. This is a position that must be able to set the standard for integrity and professionalism, and interact with a diverse team.

* Perform daily bank statement reconciliations * Reconcile payments from payment processors * Maintain list of reservations * Review and reconcile invoices from third parties * Input expenses into general ledger system * Assist with consolidation entries * Correspond with other corporate departments to ensure proper accounting treatment of income and expenses * Research and correct account coding * Special projects and research as assigned

* 4-6 years experience in corporate environment or accounting degree plus 1-2 years experience * Working knowledge of accounting principles * Proficient in Microsoft Excel * Strong Analytical Skills * Effective communication
