Responsibilities
  • Take an active role in the month-end close process (prepare/book journal entries and reconcile accounts)
  • Reconcile sales transactions and cost of goods sold on a daily/weekly basis
  • Track cash flow and reconcile cash receipts and accounts receivable on a daily/weekly basis
  • Manage and review employee expense reimbursements
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation
  • Any other ad hoc projects or responsibilities that arise
Ideal Candidate
  • You have an incredible work ethic and 1-3 years of experience (with some of that time preferably spent within a Big 4 firm or similar environment). You are looking to get in on the ground floor of a well-funded startup where you will have the opportunity to help build out a Finance/Accounting function.
  • You have a solid understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • You have a bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business. You hold, or are pursuing, your CPA.
  • You are a self-starter who can multi-task, prioritize, and manage a multitude of conflicting priorities against competing deadlines without breaking a sweat.
  • You are an excellent communicator and a joy to work with.
  • You are meticulously detail-oriented with advanced Excel skills (i.e. pivot tables, v-lookups, macros). You can put together accurate, timely and detailed reports.
  • Knowledge of Intacct and/or Adaptive Planning is a plus.
