This position is responsible for providing creative and recreational activities that meet the physical, social, emotional, therapeutic, cognitive, and recreational needs of our patients. The Recreational Therapist/TRT will Develop recreational interventions which meet the goals and objectives of PCBH. Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital is located in Orem, Utah and is a member of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS). - A degree in Recreational Therapy with Utah licensure (CTRS preferred ) or TRT required
- Individual must be able to prioritize, problem solve, and work amongst distractions
- Excellent people skills are a must
Working Conditions
Individual will work Every Sunday – Day shift – 4 to 8 hours per day – Flexibility to work other days of the week to assist with coverage is preferred.
