Unison Credit Union
(Kaukauna, Wisconsin)Unison Credit Union was founded in 1932 as Thilmany Credit Union; established to serve Thilmany Mill’s employees and their families. At that time, the credit union, operating out of a small room in the mill, was strictly run by volunteer employees of the mill. The credit union provided Thilmany employees a place to save and borrow at a time when the nation’s financial confidence was at an all-time low. (image courtesy Thilmany Papers)
