Responsibilities
- Write fantastic server-side code for web applications and distributed systems
- Develop prototypes quickly and scale them
- Live in the cloud and love it
- Push back, think creatively, and have fun forming products
Ideal Candidate
- Python or a similar language; bonus points for Golang
- Django or a similar web framework
- Optimization techniques in distributed systems
- Correctness in concurrent environments
- Message brokers like RabbitMQ
- NoSQL like Cassandra
- Security-focused development
- Caching and invalidation
- Testing, such as performance, unit, browser, a/b and staging
