- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce and promote compelling marketing and communications content (articles, blogs, case studies, landing pages, videos, podcasts, presentations, infographics, etc.)
- Develop quarterly and annual thematic content strategies in conjunction with the Director of Communications.
- Facilitate the creation of original content from internal sources in line with the thematic content strategy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external contributors to USGBC’s online platforms
- Manage the ongoing content development process for the bi-monthly USGBC+ member magazine.
- Draft articles, blogs and other written materials for the website and other online platforms.
- Edit content submitted by internal and external contributors to USGBC online platforms.
- 3-5 years communications/PR/media experience
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing preferred
- Team player with outstanding interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve diverse issues
- Commitment to USGBC mission
- Experience with Kapost, Drupal, Marketo
- Experience with magazine editorial process a plus
- Knowledge of AP Style a plus
