Lead UX Designer

We are looking for a talented and driven UX/product design leader to help create the next generation of TripleLift's SaaS platform for publishers, advertisers, and ad tech companies. Reporting to our Head of Product, you will work closely with our other designers, product managers, and the team of full-stack application engineers. This is a leadership role - we need you to bring to the table a combination of experience building complex application functionality that delights users with its simplicity, data-driven, user-centric approach for creating the most efficient user experiences and knowledge, energy, and drive to make TripleLift renowned for its UX.
- Establish the vision and processes for creating the products upon which our business is built
- Work closely with the product team to define requirements, develop the user experience, information architecture, and user interface designs for our products
- Work closely with our full-stack engineering team to get the products built
- Manage the style guide and execution of assets, typography, icons, and interfaces for multiple platforms
- Lead UX practices, research, and standards
- Solve complex problems with innovative visual designs and solutions
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in digital graphic design, or similar, at a 4-year university or art school preferred
- Bonus - Human Computer Interaction (HCI) coursework
- Bonus - Formal UX coursework
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a senior designer, leading design teams to build mobile and web applications at a startup or agency environment
- 3+ years in the ad tech industry preferred
You need to bring to the table
- A beautiful, clean, and engaging portfolio showing examples of application functionality
- A strong understanding and demonstrated use of UX principles and guidelines
- Mastery of visual design
- Fluency in modern design tools
- Experience in mentoring or managing other designers
- The ability to think both about the big picture and micro-level details
- A collaborative spirit
