Responsibilities

Payroll and Benefits:

  • Compiles all payroll data such as PTO, deductions, garnishments, etc.
  • Manages the payroll process with outside payroll company
  • Manages all payroll records and the time tracking system
  • Maintains employee benefits information/enrolling new employees in benefits
  • Prepares and distributes the appropriate forms and information for employee health insurance benefits and status changes
  • Monitors and administers the company supplemental benefits
  • Receives and approves Health Insurance and Supplemental Insurance benefits monthly
  • Runs commission payments monthly

Administration:

  • Assists with 401K administration
  • Prepares and responds to e-mails in a professional and timely manner
  • Takes and makes phone calls in a professional manner
  • Assists in preparation of commission payment
  • All other related duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree preferred. A degree or related experience in Business, Human Resources, or marketing field is preferred. High school diploma or the equivalent is required. Two years of previous payroll experience is required. A basic knowledge of human resource functions is required. A thorough understanding of record keeping and human resource reporting requirements is required. Must be organized, have excellent time management skills, and be able to prioritize tasks. Must have proficient Microsoft Office skills. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. A high degree of analytic ability and sound judgment is required.

Working Conditions

The hours are 8 AM- 5 PM Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
