Summary

As the Project Manager of Connectivity, you will be responsible for ensuring our largest hotel clients can maximize TravelClick’s Central Reservation System (iHotelier) by integrating seamlessly to their critical property and revenue management systems (PMS, RMS) as well as key distribution partners (OTA, Meta). You will be responsible for executing and controlling the scope of work, as well as creating and managing the project schedule to meet deadlines. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all projects realize full end-to-end success including operations, training, and go-to-market deliverables. You will be accountable for ensuring all projects have a well-defined project schedule that is transparently communicated with all stakeholders. This role is dynamic and multi-dimensional. We are seeking a candidate who has a demonstrated ability to manage technical projects while being able to effectively communicate and coordinate with non-technical stakeholders. Executive-level communication skills are a must, as is the ability to effectivity manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. The project manager must be self-driven and able to create structure and order that can be instilled in the project team with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate would understand the hospitality ecosystem – CRS, PMS, RMS, OTAs, Metas and Booking Engines – to ensure integration solutions meet client needs. This includes an understanding of revenue management, API industry standards and how hospitality applications can be adapted to support client outcomes. The role is a key member of the Global Connectivity team and vital to TravelClick’s growth strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all assigned connectivity projects have a complete project schedule
  • Mobilize disparate stakeholders into a cohesive team with a shared outcome of delivery
  • Transparently communicate project status, risks, and mitigation to varied stakeholders including Tech, Ops, Sales, and Executives
  • Serve as TravelClick’s primary liaison with external stakeholders including vendors, partners, and customers
  • Successfully deliver projects against defined project schedule and transparently communicate any variance against the plan
  • Ensure all projects realize full end-to-end success including Sales and Operations adoption, training, and go-to-market deliverables
  • Contribute in driving the creation and implementation of a tracking and reporting process for all connectivity initiatives.
  • Create, produce, and distribute monthly Connectivity project summary reports for assigned projects
  • Own connectivity project status reporting against Triage list in regularly scheduled meetings with Operations
Ideal Candidate

Experience and Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Project Management
  • Hospitality industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of hospitality systems (PMS, CRS, RMS, OTA, Meta) preferred
  • Experience working with partners, clients, vendor and other 3rd party applications
  • Strong knowledge and experience in software development process techniques
  • Software Documentation, Software Development Lifecycle, Agile, Software Requirements
    • Working knowledge of API technical standards
    • Software development background a plus

  • Self-starter who can provide structure to loosely-defined projects with minimal oversight
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to tailor communication based on audience (technical, operations, sales, vendors, customers, and executives)
  • Must be able to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required in related field; MBA and/or PMP a plus
