Responsibilities

- Manage workload and Assistant Designer/Intern to meet department time lines and goals.

- Manage your own development schedule to ensure timely completion against the PD & Company calendar.
- Understand and research market trends to inform new styles, colors, and brand consistency across all relevant industry and/or consumer markets.
- Travel internationally & domestically, for development, sourcing & inspiration.
- Contribute to key product review workshops with Designers, Developers and Chief Officers of the company.
- Responsible for delivering durable, innovative, functional and fashion forward products each season.
- Collaborate with development and sourcing team to bring market leading, innovative products, materials and trims to elevate the Timbuk2 brand.
- Communicate with production teams as needed.
- Partner with Marketing to ensure that a clear and compelling product message is delivered to the consumer.
- Assist Design Director with coaching & evaluating Assistant Designers/Interns.
