Maintenance Technician

Established in 1909, the Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA) is a cooperative of 110 dairy farming families guided by century-old values of quality, cooperation, integrity, stewardship and responsiveness. The Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot and repair dairy processing plant equipment, packaging equipment and supporting utility systems and equipment.

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
• Prepares and set up machinery for scheduled production runs
• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, Packaging, Mechanical, Refrigeration , PLC/Process Controls, Dairy Systems Mechanic, Electrical, Welding/Fabrication, and General Maintenance
• Reads and interprets drawings, equipment manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
• Comply with Safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Must be able to be Respirator certified
• Must be able to work various shifts and weekends.
• Must be able to pass physical requirements including a pre-work physical; Ability to be respirator certified.

Education:

High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience required; Associate's degree or trade school certification preferred.

Experience:

• Desired skills include Allen Bradley PLC programming, Allen Bradley Panel View, Device net, Control net, and a strong electrical & instrumentation background
• Knowledge of Wonderware a plus
• General plant mechanical maintenance history required

Certifications:

• Oregon Plant Journeyman Electrical License or LME a plus
• Ammonia Refrigeration (RETA) a plus
