Summary

The veterinary hospital records area is looking for a motivated individual to join our team. Someone to help support our busy hospital facility through skilled medical data management, detailed record-keeping and meaningful guest interactions. This hourly full-time position will be working with the Animal Medical Information team to maintain all aspects of animal medical records – paper and electronic - for animals located across TWDC in addition to providing support for various conservation projects.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include data entry, lab result tracking, digital image management, filing documents and maintaining spreadsheets
Other duties include assisting with clerical and technical support for the Animal Health team

**You will need:**

* A talent for focused, detailed work with proven experience with medical records and/or data management
* An ability to balance multiple priorities with minimum direction
* A talent for focused, detailed work with proven experience with medical records and/or data management
* To enjoy interacting with guests in small groups and have previous experience with engaging the public
* To be proficient in learning new computer software and strong technically with most Microsoft Office applications
* Full availability up to 40 hours per week, to include weekends and holidays

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Previous relevant experience in working with Microsoft SharePoint
* Informatics or other related study courses or experience
* Previous Disney experience and/or cursory knowledge of the Walt Disney World Resort
* Bilingual (verbal)

High school degree or equivalent

Degree or Certificate in Animal Science or Health Information Management
