Summary

The Brattle Group is seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist in our San Francisco, CA office. This position will support the Senior Marketing Manager in developing and implementing long-term marketing strategies to support the visibility of the firm and its practices and experts. A successful candidate will be independently motivated, with strong interpersonal, project management, and writing skills. Responsibilities of this position include developing and maintaining firm and practice area marketing communications, conference placements, industry-focused research, and event planning.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Principals and Consultants of the firm to support the planning and execution of department, firm, and practice area marketing goals and initiatives under the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager;
  • Proactively identify and support the activities of specific practice areas and marketing groups to build Brattle’s name recognition and increase exposure before targeted audiences;
  • Support the Marketing Department’s efforts to develop and implement a cohesive content marketing strategy via thought leadership pieces, webinars, and external newsletters and client alerts;
  • Research and develop proposals for conference speaking engagements to increase visibility of the firm/principals;
  • Develop and foster relationships with key event organizers and CLE providers/in-house professional development staff at law firms;
  • Discover opportunities to update the corporate website with new features, fresh content, and consistent branding;
  • Identify and support targeted research initiatives to help consultants and practice areas reach new potential clients;
  • Support and facilitate the planning of high impact special events.
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Marketing or Public Relations preferred;
  • Four(4) years of professional office experience; at least three(3) years of marketing experience; Work in a law firm or similar field preferred;
  • Ability to handle multiple and shifting tasks in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (or similar software packages);
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and interface with management-level staff;
  • Experience with database concepts, search engines, and standard information databases required;
  • Ability to exercise appropriate judgment;
  • Flexibility to work occasional nights and travel as needed.
