Summary
Supervises measurement analyst to ensure accurate and reliable measurement and balancing data within the Flow Cal measurement system. Develops, trains, and implements processes for the continued improvement of Tesoro Logistics’ measurement organization.
Responsibilities
- Leads, develops and implements processes and procedures to measurement data quality control. Approves gas data validity before release to accounting. Approves key controls and procedures for the Measurement Systems group. - Integrates gas measurement data with other company computer systems. - Responsible for supervising, developing and evaluating measurement systems staff. Develops and provides training and guidance for measurement analysts and company personnel. - Maintains expert level working knowledge and understanding of gas measurement processes and practices. - Manages development of interfaces between measurement systems and company core applications. - Provides measurement systems design and guidance for enhancements or new product development pertaining to company measurement systems. Provides guidance to field measurement personnel to insure data integrity and efficient transfer of closed data to accounting and company customers. - Build solid cross-functional relationships. - Provides logistical support, course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management. - Maintains access controls to essential core measurement systems to insure compliance with Sarbanes/Oxley act.
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum high school diploma or GED required. - Industry training courses in gas & Liquid measurement, sampling, and chromatography. - Minimum of 10 years' experience in gas and liquid measurement. Must have strong working knowledge of Flow Cal measurement system and gas & liquid measurement.
