Summary

Tenthwave (www.tenthwave.com) is looking for a Digital Media Strategist to help support and expand our growing online media team in New York City. The ideal candidate is driven by a passion for technology, search marketing (SEO/SEM), and media buying on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. He/she should enjoy working in a creative environment and interacting with team members across various job functions. Candidate must display a high degree of self-motivation with 2-3 years first-hand experience at an interactive agency or in managing the online presence of a large brand.

Our environment is fast paced, meaning you should expect to deliver a number of high quality deliverables on a daily basis while effectively managing your ongoing responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams in developing media plans/strategies across platforms
  • Launch/manage/optimize and report on campaigns, primarily paid search and Facebook advertising campaigns.
  • Participate in new business proposals/presentations
Ideal Candidate
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Google AdWords, GDN, etc.
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of the Facebook and Instagram Advertising Platform
  • In-depth familiarity with FB’s targeting Capabilities, latest ad units, Power Editor, etc.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Twitter Advertising, YouTube Advertising, and LinkedIn Advertising
  • Intermediate knowledge of organic SEO and paid search marketing platforms
  • Demonstrated experience managing Google Adwords campaigns and Bing Advertising
  • Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of organic SEO best practices, including both on-site and off-site SEO
  • Familiarity with 3rd party tools, reporting and performance tracking across all platforms
  • Familiarity with Google Product Listing ads
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics Conversion tracking, Goals, Funnels etc.
  • Basic HTML
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Strong writing skills
  • Desire to learn about new advertising platforms
  • Advanced familiarity of Microsoft Office, browser plug-ins, third party analytics tools, reputation management tools, and sentiment-monitoring platforms.
  • Superior communication skills
  • Be comfortable in managing and handling internal and external communications with grace and ease.
  • Be able to represent your department in client meetings and conference calls.

  • Subscribe to industry pubs and follow competitors work
