DevOps Engineer

• Completely automate TeleSign’s deployment process, making it consistent, repeatable, and evolution-ready
• Develop, maintain, and document configuration management solutions
• Understand and use best practices for deployment processes and support
• Develop processes/procedures to ensure the consistent use of DevOps tools throughout the SDLC
• Mentor others within Engineering and Operations through practical experience and mentoring/peer review
• Create tools to help teams both within DevOps, interdepartmentally and globally across all TeleSign teams
• Consult on overall production systems architecture

• 2-4 year experience in a DevOps, Development, or Sysadmin role
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Relational database experience, e.g. MySQL, MSSQL
• Experience with python or similar language
• Strong grasp of automation tools and experience working in a DevOps culture, Puppet experience required
• Experience running mission-critical Linux servers in virtualized environments

Pluses:

• Experience with VOIP (SIP, RTP), Asterisk, SMS (SMPP)
• Exposure to NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, Redis, etc)
• Understanding of Message Queuing Systems (RabbitMQ, Qpid, etc)
• Git and GitFlow experience
