Summary

The client is looking for a Cloud Data Analyst/Developer to partner with Project Managers/Analysts to help own data harvesting for the team. This will allow the current team to focus on the architecture projects.

Responsibilities

Expectations on this Cloud Data Analyst/Developer is to work with resting API's and put them into the SQL databases. The organization of this data will allow reports to be built around cloud capacity (VM's, what's being used, what's capacity/bandwidth, how many instances on the cloud). They are using this information for budgeting and forecasting for future Comcast Cloud projects/products.

Ideal Candidate

Databases:

Vertica - used for analytic functions MySQL/SQL - needs to be able to build tables, querying tables

Scripting:

Bash Preferable Ruby Python Shell

ETL:

Pentaho - graphical tool that moves data from database to database Kettle SQL SSIS

Operating System:

Linux (NO WINDOWS)

Environment:

Scrum Agile Rally
