Market Manager

Tapingo’s team of Market Managers play a critical role in the success of Tapingo’s delivery and pickup services in every college campus market. As a Market Manager, you’ll develop and quarterback:

• Best in class delivery teams
• A vibrant network of partnered merchants in each of your markets

You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and excellent at forming and maintaining strategic relationships. You thrive autonomously but also work well sharing your insights and absorbing knowledge in a team setting.

• Coaching teams of Tapingo delivery couriers for our 50 fast-growing college campus markets
• Prospecting and signing local merchants as Tapingo delivery and pickup partners
• Managing ongoing relationships & market strategy with your courier teams and local partnered merchants
• Reporting regularly on Key Performance Indicators for your markets

Required

• BA/BS with 1-3 years of experience in market/community management, sales, and/or operations
• Resourceful, scrappy, persuasive, and proactive
• Comfortable in variable and changing environments
• Comfortable with 30-50% of time spent on the road

Preferred

• Experience working at a tech company or startup
• Comfort/ability working with analytical tools
