Stride is the first meta search marketplace for all organized travel including: multi-day guided tours, adventure travel packages, and small ship cruises. Stride offers thousands of trips from over 400 leading tour companies along with reviews, simple search and comparison tools and rich destination guides.

Summary

As Stride’s Product Manager, you will work closely with and guide a team of international software developers to improve platform features for both travelers and travel companies. You will manage the product roadmap, set milestones, and ensure that our engineering team is producing quality deliverables. As our key product evangelist, you will work with the CEO to define product strategy while integrating our platform with third-party APIs. You will manage the look and feel of our products, and help develop new ideas through research and testing. To succeed in this role, you must possess a unique blend of business, UX, and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. Lastly, you should enjoy travel and user-testing - spending time understanding the pain points and opportunities for users.

Responsibilities
  • Manage product development lifecycle from design to QA to usertesting.
  • Project manage engineers including a remote team.
  • Create wireframes and designs to meet business needs balancing UX, SEO, CRO and other business goals.
  • Work with CEO to set product vision and development priorities and goals and coordinate across different functional teams.
  • Own the measurement, analysis and optimization of product and user experience data.
Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of comparable Internet product management experience.
  • 2+ years working directly with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in ecommerce or other transaction oriented consumer web apps preferred.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with varied responsibilities.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at a time and successfully meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills - for customers, business and technical colleagues.
  • Strong problem solving, analytic, and decision making skills; able to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and formulate innovative & effective actions plans to resolve issues.
  • Team player that works well in collaborative situations; Fun and good sense of humor.
