As a part of the Majors/National team, the Digital Lead serves as a consultative expert, presenting Star Tribune?s online advertising, marketing and digital capabilities.

This individual will be responsible for sales activity that includes prospecting new business and enhancing marketing solutions for existing clients.

This includes building and presenting digital products, packages and pricing structures that address client objectives and budgets.
- Digital Leads are our subject matter experts, continually keeping the team informed of industry trends and identifying new product opportunities.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years sales experience in media sales, with an emphasis in online advertising channels
- Ability to establish product value and close a sale in a timely manner
- Must have ability to form strong and effective relationships with marketers and have a proven track record of increasing portfolio revenue
- Must be able to work cross-functionally and thrive in a team setting
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, communications and presentation skills
- Must be able to effectively manage multiple demands and keep current to rapidly changing information
- Previous project management experience and knowledge of databases used in online marketing campaigns strongly preferred.
- Analytical skills are important in managing and optimizing active banner, mobile, video, iPad, search engine and email campaigns of customers.
