Spherion Staffing Services is NOW HIRING internally for a Customer Service Assistant (CSA) for our office in Bellefontaine, Ohio Positions is Full Time (Temp to Hire) available in 1st Shift with pay starting between $12.00-$13.00/hour. - Function as a liaison between Spherion, the client, the employee and the community
- Handle incoming phone calls. Answer the phone in a cheerful and professional manner by the third ring.
- Take messages for client orders over the phone. Take accurate messages and distribute to the appropriate person.
- Greet all applicants and guests immediately in a cheerful and professional manner.
- Conduct reference checks on applicants
- Data entry, typing, faxing, filing and general clerical
- Screen and evaluate qualified applicants for temporary assignments
- Participate in orientation of new employees
- Interview qualified applicants
- Talent market available employees to clients/prospects
- Assist in filling client orders with qualified/appropriate employees
- Communicate status of work to supervisor
- Provide timely and thorough service to clients
- Communicate with clients as well as field and office personnel in a warm and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport
- Maintain a mature problem solving attitude under stressful circumstances
- Make decisions to resolve client complaints
- Take the initiative to make suggestions to solve problems and improve production
- Make self-development efforts ex. Skillport classes, seminar, training as offered
- Inform a supervisor about a problem and recommend a solution
- Complete work in an accurate and timely fashion
- Make sure work meets quality standards
- Show pride in your work
- Set an example of high quality work for team members or peers
- Any other duties as assigned by management
- Minimum of one-year experience in a fast paced, customer service environment either through employment or education
- Proficiency in MS applications
- Must be adaptable, flexible and maintain effectiveness during change
- Strong communication and problem solving abilities
- History of success evidenced by increased responsibilities and/or promotions
