SKOUT is looking for hands on Automation Engineers on Android and IOS to contribute/improve in their automation framework in order to achieve 100% automation for all features company wide. Senior Automation Engineers have the added responsibility of providing technical leadership. As a senior tester, you are expected to play a significant role in coordinating the team's activities, and to lead new projects and processes that increase the team's effectiveness.

* Design, develop and implement automated tools and test infrastructure * Contribute to the test strategy & design for an exciting new project * Participate in ongoing product specification and code reviews * Translate customer requirements and product goals into appropriate tests * Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases against our hardware and software platforms * Estimate test efforts * Analyze and communicate test results * Defect tracking * Participate in day-to-day QA activities * Enhance and extend the automation library and framework * Add to our company’s performance and scalability testing efforts * Gain deep understanding of language implementations and the web developer mindset

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science * Excellent coding skills – Ruby, Python, Perl or Java * 5+ years of SDET / Development experience * 5+ years of experience in designing and developing generic test automation framework * 5+ years of hands-on experience with test planning, test execution and designing, implementing and maintaining high quality test automation * Unix expertise: using a shell and the file system to maintain an environment and troubleshoot problems * Excellent knowledge of QA methods and practices. * Excellent communication skills * Strong JavaScript * Cucumber/Calabash Knowledge is a plus
