Real Estate Portfolio Analyst

• We are currently seeking a Real Estate Portfolio Analyst to join the NY team. This position is for an analyst who will work as part of the team responsible for managing a portfolio of high yield real estate debt investments.

Experience Required:

Basic understanding of real estate finance including debt and equity structures.

• Ability to understand and analyze balance sheets and income statements.
• Knowledge and familiarity with underwriting and/or asset management of commercial real estate debt.
• Ability to construct complex financial models
• Strong analytical and computer skills with a thorough knowledge of excel including the ability to perform cash flow analyses and model complex financial transactions.
• Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
• A demonstrable passion for real estate and desire to learn.
• Ability to work in a team environment, yet, to think independently and generate quality work product with little supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet multiple deadlines.

Skills and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or quantitative-based field of study.
• One to two years of real estate finance or asset management related experience desired but not required.
