Summary

We’re looking for an Office Coordinator to join our team in Toronto! We need someone who is personable and quick as a whip, with a "get shit done" attitude. You must be able to thrive in an ever-changing and sometimes chaotic environment. If you are a master of organization, have jedi-like problem solving abilities, and can multitask in your sleep, then keep reading.

Responsibilities

You'll be working on things like:

  • Greeting candidates, new employees and public guests at reception
  • Maintaining an inventory of Shopify-branded swag and handling requests for new swag
  • Helping with the logistical components of special events
  • Accounting for charges made on company credit cards
  • Assisting employees with booking lounge or cafe events
  • Answering questions and providing guidance about Special Occasion Permits, vendor selection, etc.
  • Coordinating travel for new hires
  • Sending and receiving mail
Ideal Candidate

You'll need to have:

  • Super organizational skills
  • A friendly and welcoming attitude
  • The ability to multi-task and adapt to new situations
  • Great communication skills
  • The ability to liaise with many different external and internal stakeholders and team members

It would be great if you also had experience with:

  • Event planning and logistics
  • Completing travel bookings for others and/or managing a travel program
  • Administrative support and scheduling
  • Procurement
