Social Media Manager

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in social media, and should have a strong knowledge of the style, beauty, pop culture and women’s lifestyle space. This is a key role on our editorial team, offering the opportunity to lead social media accounts that already have massive followings and brand recognition. As well, this person will be a partner to the Audience Development team to help deliver on overall traffic goals.
- Set and implement strategy for various social profiles, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Periscope and WeHeartIt
- Identify and communicate audience trends and story recommendations to editors
- Collect, analyze and report on social media and traffic data on a regular basis
- Identify new tools practices, and technology trends in the social media, content marketing, and digital content space
- Drive performance and ?reach of StyleCaster content through social media promotion
- Accountability to grow existing StyleCaster social channels across key metrics (acquisition, engagement and site traffic)
- Proactively identify new social media opportunities and platforms, and execute strategies to elevate the brand
- 3-5 years of experience in social media, as well as a successful track record of managing big social accounts across different platforms
- Experience with social media analytics and third-party reporting tools (ChartBeat, Parse.ly, CrowdTangle, Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Offerpop) a plus.
- Rolodex of both third-party and in-house social media partners, as well as top players and influencers in the digital lifestyle space
- A proven ability to perform under high-pressure conditions
