Responsibilities
  • Subject matter expert in Exchange 2010.
  • Subject matter expert in Active Directory.
  • Experience with VMware vSphere.
  • Experience with SAN storage systems.
  • Provide 24x7 global 3rd level support for the IT infrastructure.
  • Proactively monitor operational status, capacity, and performance of supported infrastructure, ensuring that they remain within acceptable limits.
  • Administrate systems and servers to ensure availability of service to authorized users.
  • Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
  • Maintain and test Disaster Recovery procedures on a Quarterly basis.
  • Ensure high quality documentation for supported infrastructure is developed and maintained.
  • Provide assessment of new opportunities and their estimated cost.
  • Ensure SOX and other legal and regulatory compliance in the infrastructure area
  • Additional support for Exchange, Active Directory, Windows, and Backup/Recovery systems.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience with Windows 2008/2012, Exchange 2010, and Active Directory 2008.
  • Technical experience in vSphere ESXi 5.X and Storage administration
  • Exceptional communication, both written and verbal, including listening skills and an open attitude toward constructive feedback.
  • Ability to multitask in an ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to travel to other locations (both domestic and international) as needed.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell commandlets, scripting, and general automation activities is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Systems with increasing responsibilities.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and leverage logical deduction to resolve problems.
  • Strong customer support and general communication skills.
  • A great attitude with a propensity to learn and apply new skills.
  • Strong infrastructure implementation and project deployment experience.
