In this hybrid role, (CREATIVE & BROADCAST) you have an innate ability to conceptualize and understand the creative development process, while easily transitioning from a hands-on creative to providing artistic video editing direction. The ideal candidate understands both the technical and creative aspects of editing, shooting, conceptualizing and post production; someone who can share their concepts and how to execute them.
As our ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR, BROADCAST, you recognize the importance of video/music aesthetic and are able to, not only share your technical concepts, but also able to recommend visual improvements to a variety of art and video work, in order to promote the creative and broadcast COMBINED vision.
This is an ideal opportunity if you are a creative with a video editor background. Working closing with the creative and broadcast teams, you’re confident and comfortable in both arenas, and are able to understand the nuanced aspects of BOTH worlds.
- Partners and collaborates across integrated agency lines
- Collaborates with ECDs and Broadcast Director on Big Idea and day-to-day solutions and participate in developing pitches to help land our next great client
- Promote continual creative team improvement and actively contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, excellence and accountability
- Elevate the design aesthetic of all deliverables while ensuring brand integrity
- Articulating creative concepts and developing them in an organized, compelling manner
- An understanding of video production, including selecting production and supervising edits
- Minimum 8 years of experience as an advertising agency creative, including having a Broadcast, video/editing background (your reel matters more than your tenure!)
- Exceptional verbal/presentation skills
- Proven ability for presenting to clients in a personable, clear, persuasive manner
- Experience in music/video editing, including traditional and new media
- Must be able to multi-task effectively
- Self-starter who knows what to do and doesn’t have to be told. Proactive!
- Previous experience with entertainment accounts is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
