Summary

The Research Analyst will collect, manage and disseminate real estate market and business information for business development, client support, internal analysis, publication of presentation material and market reports, The Research Analyst will be responsible for the maintenance and quality control of data systems and processes that integrate many separate data sources, working with end users, consulting teams and the IT department to define data requirements and spearhead process improvement and development projects. Candidate must be self-motivated, detailed oriented, methodical and have strong technical skills with proficiency in advanced Excel and Access. Experience with certain BI and CRM tools (Qlikview, Tableau, and Salesforce) a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research using the internet, proprietary databases,third party services and other media resources

  • Data collection, cleansing, refresh and quality control

  • Maintain current research databases, applications and report templates

  • Spearhead and manage research data process improvement and automation

  • Statistical analysis and data visualizing

  • Assist in the research and preparation of white papers and other Company publications,

  • Work closely with research team, local brokerage teams and IT in defining, populating and maintaining proprietary market information databases, including property profile, tenant canvassing and lease comp data

  • Perform customized research and analysis projects as needed

  • Train end users on the use of proprietary and third party database applications

Ideal Candidate
  • BA or BS Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum 4 years of related real estate, business information research, data management and/or data analysis experience

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills

  • Accomplished with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet research, and various other types of analytical and presentation software

  • Creative in the realm of data visualization

  • Hard working, multi-tasking, collaborative team player

  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal

  • Ability to interact well with clients and peers

  • Ability to learn new computer programs easily
