Visual Designer

Rodan + Fields is seeking a talented Visual Designer to support our in-house Marketing Creative Team. You are someone who is passionate about online creative, has a keen attention to detail in color and typography; and is a digital design guru (social media and brand savvy).

The ideal candidate will have proven experience designing and producing creative for websites and social media formats, not as it relates to UX, but as a brand owner – focused on bridging campaign creative to online sources. The Visual Designer must be able to think outside of the box and stretch the Rodan + Fields brand, while maintaining brand standards. Ability to produce under tight deadlines and minimal direction is key. This role will consist of mostly design with a bit of production work.

• Maintain existing Rodan + Fields branded digital assets with required creative and tactical updates as needed.
• Ideate new creative media as required by various campaigns and needs specified by the Design Lead/Creative Director.
• Support design needs of social media content calendar, campaign emails, weekly digital newsletters and brand elements for corporate and Consultant-only websites/landing pages/microsites.
• Interest in lending a hand when needed to creative concept design, campaign roll outs to various types of media and for overall team support.

• Minimum of 5 years of design experience – proven high level online/social media creative execution a must, brand identity design and digital agency background a plus.
• Understanding of, and interest in, the beauty/skincare/cosmetic industries.
• Fluency in current graphic visual design practices and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Understand and enjoy typographic and illustration principals/foundations.
• Communicates effectively and concisely in all email and verbal correspondence.
• Flexible with design direction and ability to positively respond to feedback.
• Self-disciplined and motivated in an environment that requires a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to view work across media holistically and with brand consistency a must.
• Ability to produce pixel perfect design to a variety of specs.
• Ability to multitask and positively adjust to a rapidly changing environment.
