Summary

Help our front end team build the world's best user generated gaming platform supporting integrated desktop and mobile gameplay. We have a viral gaming directory, a massive virtual goods catalog, and an active social network. Our pages are displayed in browsers and embedded in desktop and mobile apps. You will transform the ROBLOX browser experience from a traditional user interface to a highly interactive, responsive, and efficient design. We would love to hear from you if you are a JavaScript/CSS expert with a strong frontend foundation and love having an impact in a small team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Build feature-rich user interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Write unit and integration tests
  • Identify and resolve performance issues
  • Help define next generation standards on the front-end web stack
  • Participate in building the world's best user generated gaming platform
Ideal Candidate
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
  • Complete knowledge of HTML/CSS and its cross-browser challenges.
  • Interest in working on presentation layers and layouts
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with core JavaScript fundamentals.
  • Experience with at least one JavaScript framework such as AngularJS, Ember, Backbone, KnockoutJS, etc.
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors such as LESS or SASS and CSS libraries such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
  • Experience using modern javascript tools such as NPM, grunt, gulp, karma, jasmine, istanbul, etc.
  • Experience building responsive web pages and an interest in working within the presentation layer.
  • Advanced knowledge of a modern web application framework (Ruby on Rails, php/zend, JSP, .NET)
