PHP Web Developer

We are working with a local Client to file the role of Lamp Developer. This position will focus on the MySQL development and maintenance for Internal and external clients. The ideal candidate should have experience with developing in the Full LAMP Stack with the last few years focusing in MySQL.

• Responsible for the design and programming of web solutions / applications in PHP and MySQL.
• Design, development, and optimization of correspondent databases in MySQL.
• Give maintenance to, and optimize current applications.
• Implement upon preset coding rules and procedures and maintain source control.
• Create operational reports for management.

• 1 – 3+ years of on-the-job experience
• Very strong experience in LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) web application/solution development for backend programming.
• Frontend experience in: HTML 5, CSS 3, AngularJS, Angular UI, Boostrap, jQuery, jQuery UI.
• Experience in Web-Services: RESTful (via XML and JSON), SOAP, SOA.
• Preferred experience in professional IDE’s or advanced editors; i.e. Netbeans, Eclipse, Vim, GNU Emacs, Sublime, Adobe Brackets, Textmate, etc.
• Creative problem solver with the ability to find viable solutions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GNU/Linux (terminal commands, BASH scripts, CRON jobs).
• Experience in source code management using git.
