Junior Developer

Our downtown Chicago client is seeking a talented C# or Java Developer to join their Software Solutions team! This position is responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining and supporting all phases of application lifecycles, and will work collaboratively with our team to design custom solutions and implement existing products based requirements.

The Junior Developer will be responsible for providing software development support using programming languages including C#/.NET, Java, and SQL. The Developer should also be familiar with Object-Oriented Programming and Unit Testing. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, or graduating within 1 year.
• Experience developing in either C# or Java.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design (encapsulation, polymorphism, etc.).
• Understanding of XML (XSLT and XSL-FO is a plus).
• Positive attitude with a drive to succeed.

Desired Qualifications:

• JavaScript (JQuery experience is preferred).
• Experience with BI Publisher.
• Experience with NHibernate or other object-relational framework such as Entity Framework.
• Experience with Microsoft Communication Framework.
• Experience with Windows Presentation Framework.
• Experience with MVC 3.
