You should have experience in understanding a 4–6 month sales process that spans multiple people and departments with a proven track record consistently being over-quota. It is important to note that customer success is crucial for our company’s success. Identifying what success means to the customer in the pre-sales process and driving towards attaining that once they have signed is our #1 priority.
- educate, manage, and build relationships with a wide range of local government leaders in large cities
- lead deals from initial engagement to close, traveling when needed — starting in North America, with an eye towards strategic global expansion
- work closely with the Success team to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers
- achieve and exceed revenue goals
- have ~5 years of experience in SaaS sales (B2B / B2G), closing six-figure deals consistently in recent years
- use a consultative sales process that focuses on the needs of the client
- care about cities and the way they are planned and built
- are low-ego, empathetic, adaptable, and incredibly ambitious
- are skilled at multi-tasking and managing multiple threads in parallel while valuing details
- love experimenting to figure out the best process, and like to travel both domestic and internationally
